about me
Zoë Johnson, LPCC
Psychedelic Therapist • Somatic Clinician • Founder of Inner Roadtrip
Welcome! I’m so glad you dropped by.
I am a licensed psychotherapist specializing in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy and somatic, embodiment-based care offered within structured Portals — defined seasons of intentional depth.
I hold psychedelic work with the steadiness of a clinician and the attunement of a doula.
My approach is clinically grounded, spiritually literate, and relationally steady. I integrate nervous system science, creative process, breathwork, and expanded-state work in a way that honors the whole person — not just your story, but how that story lives in your body. licensed psychotherapist specializing in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy and somatic, embodiment-based care offered within structured Portals — defined seasons of intentional depth.

You are not a diagnosis. You are a complex, adaptive, intelligent system. Therapy isn’t about becoming someone new. It’s about creating enough safety to remember who you’ve always been. You’re welcome here, exactly as you are. Together, we’ll move thoughtfully, ethically, and at a pace that feels human.

How I Hold This Work
I work at the intersection of body, psyche, and expanded states.
Somatic psychotherapy means we listen to the language of your nervous system — breath, posture, sensation, impulse, tension — not just the narrative you can articulate. Trauma and resilience both live in physiology. When the body is included, change becomes durable.
As a psychedelic therapist, I support the full arc of expanded-state work — preparation, experience, and integration — within a steady relational container. These experiences can feel like emotional rebirth, ego softening, or spiritual reorientation. They deserve skill, discernment, and care.
This is not high-volume work. I intentionally keep my caseload small. Psychedelic therapy is not “dose and discharge.” It is structured, time-bound, and rooted in preparation and integration.
You will not be rushed. You will not be pushed. Consent and collaboration are the foundation of the work.
the path that brought me here
My path into this work has been broad-ranging, and far from accidental. From organic farming and goat herding in the tropics, to corporate work, to motherhood, to art-making — each chapter fed the same river: a devotion to understanding the body–mind–spirit connection and what supports true healing.
I have lived through substance misuse, body dysmorphia, and disordered eating. I have cared for babies, elders, and people at the end of life. Again and again, I have been brought into intimate relationship with vulnerability and resilience.
Healing, I learned, happens in relationship.
We are in relationship with our bodies, our histories, our environments, and the people we trust to walk beside us.
My work in medical and surgical coordination further clarified this truth. I witnessed how isolating healthcare systems can feel when someone is already vulnerable. It became clear that my role is not to direct or fix, but to facilitate — to walk alongside for a time, helping you carry what feels heavy and supporting you in setting it down when you are ready.
The inner roadtrip
Inner Roadtrip is the name I give to this work because healing is not about becoming someone new. It is about returning to yourself — resourced, embodied, and no longer alone.
Through somatic awareness, breathwork, creative process, and when appropriate, psychedelic-assisted therapy, I support you in reconnecting with your internal guidance and integrating insight into daily life.
Your body is not a problem to solve. It is a living archive and a source of intelligence.
We move at a pace your nervous system can trust.
